Immmmm Bacckkkkkk

Hello! Do you remember me? If not thats okay… Its been quite some time since I posted, and even longer still since I posted on a daily basis…. I apologize for that life has a way of getting in the way, and sidetracking us doesn’t it? And while I can’t go back and make up for all the lost time and posts I hope I can start over again and finish out the year with a good record! : )

So much has happened since we last talked and theres no way I can tell you all of it, but I can give you a little recap:

Daine is growing up SO fast, she’s about 30 pounds now and stands almost as high as my knee! o.o She’s already 17 weeks old and its hard to believe we adopted her 11 weeks ago last Friday!!!

Galadriel and Baby tolerate her to an extent, Galad more than Baby, and Galadriel’s health has been fine since her surgery (something I’m very thankful for)

Went on a little vacay for my 21st birthday to the DC area to see some friends, and while things didn’t go as planned and it had some rough patches I did have a good time….

So how have y’all been?

Plinky Prompt Time!!!! Do you prefer to write notes on paper or an electronic device?

Honestly, I prefer to write notes on paper! (cos then I can doodle in the margins!!) And I remember them better when I write them on pen and paper anyway so its all good (plus some of the profs at my college don’t allow laptops for note taking anymore)

So what about you? Paper or E notes? How about blog posts? Do you write them out on paper first?

Books and such

So I’m taking a little break from email and FB and such and while I do that I’m going to work on getting caught up on my blog (little by little anyway) and the best way to do that is to use plinky.com and prompts! 😀 Today’s prompt is: Has a book ever brought you to tears?

Those who know me know that I’m not really the crying type, usually I only cry when I’m VERY angry or seriously very very upset (I honestly can’t remember the last time I cried….) that being said there are very few books that can make me cry

The first book (and probably the one that has done it the most) would have to be Little Women, there are parts in that book that yes I always cry at, ever since the first time I read it…. I can’t help myself, even though I know its coming and I know whats going to happen in the book I still cry

A few other scenes in books make me cry, when a favorite character dies, or even worse when a favorite animal in a book dies it makes me seriously sad but usually I don’t end up crying….

So what about you? What books make you cry? BONUS: What movies make you cry?

Daily Post asked “What is your favorite day of the week? And Why

Shockingly my favorite day of the week is Monday

I know, I know “Monday?! Thats the worst day of the week!”

But Monday is usually a day of rest for me, after the kids have been home all week, getting things straightened up and them ready for school, I’m just ready to drop! Its nice to have a little break! A little bit of ‘me time’ before I get started on my weekly chores and all :p

What about you? Whats your favorite day of the week? Why? Bonus! What is your least favorite day of the week?

Pick A Number

I know I’ve been missing from here a lot lately, so I thought I’d work on some posts while I could! 🙂

Pick a number

Step 1: Pick a number from 1 to 10.

Step 2: Now think of something interesting in your life, or that you’d like to have in your life, related to that number. For example, if you picked 6, tell me about your favorite kind of beer (which come in packs of 6).

My favorite number is 7

This is strange because I typically hate odd numbers

7 is a great age to be, First Grade, you get to read AND get ‘rest’ time in school

We got Pom-Poo when I was 7

7’s just a good number for me 🙂

So whats your number?
